Dickow Pumpen enjoys christmas time with advent calendar

This year, not only the employees of Dickow Pumpen can look forward to an advent calendar. The intensive care nurses of the hospital in Mühldorf a. Inn will also receive a sweet surprise - just in time for December 1.

Every year, the pre-christmas period is characterized by hectic and stress in both the private and professional spheres: getting presents, baking cookies, activating the last reserves of work, completing work and production orders. It's good to pause for a moment, to say "thank you" and to give a little joy.

"In addition to the outstanding work effort, shown by our employees every year at this demanding time just before Christmas, this year we would also like to pay special attention to the nurses in the intensive care unit at the hospital Mühldorf a. Inn. Due to the current development of Corona, they are reaching their limits and are fighting for the health and lives of individuals on a daily basis. So it was clear, that this year, we would not only give a small gift to our employees during advent", says Mr. Bornemann, Managing Director of Dickow Pumpen.

Based on this impulse, the company set a sign of gratitude, solidarity and cohesion in times of the pandemic and donated calendars to the hospital last week. Further advent calendars went to the children's cancer aid organization BALU, which is located in Altötting and has also been close to the hearts of the Dickow familiy in the past. The organization enables affected families - of children or parents with cancer - to receive financial and psychological support in their difficult life situation.

As a family-owned company with a 111-year history located in Waldkraiburg, Dickow Pumpen is particularly committed to regional projects. For this reason, the company wishes the entire staff of the hospital a lot of strength and endurance in this challenging time and hopes to bring a sparkle into the eyes of the children of BALU when they open the little doors.
